RENT A CAR
Renting a car can be a great / flexible way of traveling through the island on your own time. Keep in mind gas prices tend to be higher in Dominican Republic. Visit this link for many car rental options from the airport.

There are tolls on the way from the airport to Las Terrenas. Make sure you already have cash in local currency (Dominican Pesos) before you hit the road.
​
The cost of the tolls should amount to approximately 1000DOP (20 USD approx).
TAKE A BUS
From the airport, take a taxi to the bus station (around 10 min ride). The bus station is called Parada Samana. It is located at the crossroads of Las Americas highway and Juan Pablo II ave).
This taxi ride should cost between 500DOP and 1000DOP (between 10 and 20USD)

Once you are at the station, take the bus in direction to SAMANA - LAS TERRENAS.
It is a 2h30 trip and the cost should be around 500DOP (10USD).

Your final destination is the ESSO GAS STATION in Las Terrenas.
Once you arrived at Las Terrenas - Bus Station ( ESSO GAS STATION), you are basically close to everything.
From there, it should take you 10-15 minutes to get to your hotel or Airbnb.

If you want to be as close as possible to us and the wedding venue , you should book your stay near Playa Coson.

TAKE A TAXI
From the airport, take a taxi to Las Terrenas.
Be very specific with the driver about the price before confirming the ride.
It should cost between 150 and 200USD.

A good option for larger groups is to take a shuttle transfer.
